Kidzones - Recycled Sound!

Music Wise will be running fun music workshops for children and families with an environmental theme in parks over the summer in partnership with Norwich City Council. Community Music East will deliver music workshops where children will be playing with ''recycled'' instruments and found sounds to create music.

Activities are free and children can just turn up, but they must be accompanied by an adult.

 

Summer Challenge

 

Music Wise is also running Summer Challenges over the summer holiday:

 

  • to create a piece of music at the Blyth Jex School, in Norwich - for young people at the school

  • to create a piece of music using found objects, finishing with a rehearsal and performance at the Castle Museum . This will be linked to a solo show by German artist Karsten Bott, which will fill the exhibition galleries of Norwich Castle , featuring discarded household objects over the last two decades. For young people in care in Norfolk and for young people from selected schools in Norwich .
